Pleasant Hill Elementary School will be under construction for the summer beginning immediately.  There will be very limited access to our school during this time.  If a need arises for a visit to the school, you will need to call ahead that we may try to accommodate and give direction.  Please be reminded that all schools are closed on Fridays throughout the summer.  Our office space will be set up on the hallway leading in from the morning drop-off area. We look forward to a great new school year in August in a beautifully renovated building.  Have a wonderful, well deserved summer break!!

The Georgetown County Soil and Water Conservation District hosts a poster contest each year for third grade classes.  This year's contest theme was "Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities".  Mrs. Jakubek-Singleton, art teacher, worked with our third grade classes as each created a poster to enter in the contest.  As the winners of the contest, both classes were rewarded with a pizza party.  Way to go PHES Cubs!

Principal's Message

Welcome to Pleasant Hill

I am very pleased to be the principal of Pleasant Hill Elementary School, serving the wonderful community that has been my life-long home. My intention is to build upon the tradition of academic excellence that has been established through the years. We have a terrific staff and outstanding community support, especially from parents who want the very best for their children. A mutual trust has been established between the school and community that we will continue to uphold.

As principal, my door is open to students, staff, parents, and community members. I will work diligently to ensure that our students are afforded every educational opportunity in a safe and caring environment. I will strive to make sure that our parents are welcomed into the school, well informed of happenings and events, and encouraged to take an active role in the function of our school.

I look forward to your next visit to Pleasant Hill Elementary.

With kind regards,

W. Teddy Graham
